For all to come

For all to come

“Right now you are busy preparing the way…for all to come…”

“…and He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.” (Revelation 21:4 & 22:5)

For all to come…

Beautiful, dazzling, bright,
That’s what the world is in your sight.
No hope is lost, all dreams fulfilled,
Joy reigns in every heart.

You only wait for all to come.

Tears erased by smiles that beam,
all empty places filled to the brim.
Fear washed away by your shower of light
one day it will be so, just as you promised.

You only wait for all to come.

Right now you are busy preparing the way,
for your guests are coming soon.
No time will be better than that perfect day
when all are gathered unto you.

You only wait for all to come.
